I finished reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. A super-fine read.

My mom and I went to the NH Veterans Cemetery to visit the resting place of my father. This is the first time my mom's been there. As such, it was a rather trying and painful time. However, I am glad that we went. I think she was, too.
My mom packed a lunch for us to enjoy. I wanted to find a nice park to eat at but, alas, we were resigned to eating at a "Park and Ride" area on the side of Route 3. It wasn't what I had in mind. To quote my father, though: "It's the company, not the function." The food was yummy and I was with my mom on a nice Sunday. That's all that mattered.

I went to a few yard sales today. The highlight of sorts was finding a Sony Video8 HandyCam. It was marked "$2.00" but the people there said it was free. I think they were sick of having a yard sale and just wanted to get rid of everything. I also picked up a copy of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
I said: "I can't believe you're getting rid of this!"
The response: "Huh? What is it?"
My reply: "This is a classic! Never mind. Nobody reads any more anyway." Then I left.

My sleep schedule is screwed up (imagine that). Thus, I am awake at three-something in the morning. That's always fun. At least it allowed me to get a breakfast sandwich from Angie. That hasn't happened in a long time. It was yummy!
